Or it is energy that is stored inside the earth.From hot springs, geothermal energy has been used for bathing since Paleolithic times and for space heating since ancient Roman times, but it is now better known for electricity generation.
Geothermal energy is: energy derived from the heat in the interior of the earth. Five major plats exsist in Iceland! In the Winter because of the heat formed in the summer the payment near on of the five plants the payment near it gets all heated up!!!:)
